Dr. Artal is a multiboard certified specialist in pulmonology, sleep disorders and internal medicine. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology, and his medical training at the University of California Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine. He is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and a faculty of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Women's Guild Lung Institute Center of Excellence.
Dr. Artal's provides consultation and management of disorders of the respiratory tract, lungs, and the spectrum of disorders of sleep. He also provides primary care & internal medicine care, with a focus on nutrition, exercise and lifestyle choices.
Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine since 1998 / Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Medicine since 2000 / Double Board Certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine since 2002 and by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2009 / Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine between 2002 and 2012.
Dr. Artal is the Medical Director of Tower Sleep Medicine, a premiere American Academy of Sleep Medicine accredited sleep disorders center. Dr. Artal is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and is a member of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Sleep Apnea Treatment Program.
